Universal Design for Learning

Designed for a professional learning community of 8-10 classroom teachers, but open to resource teachers and administrators, this series of six half-day sessions will take teachers through the Shared Beliefs of the Learning for All K-12 document (Ministry of Education, Ontario, 2013), examples of various UDL frameworks (CAST, Katz, Moore), student profiles and class profiles (with a focus on Armstrong's Neurodiversity in the Classroom, 2012). Finally, teachers will have an opportunity to design instruction for their own students using planning templates designed by Shelley Moore, PhD.
Fees depend on location, time commitment, and school needs. Hybrid model available.
