There is limited space available for direct consultation. Pending consent from the parents and the school team, I will come to your child's school in person to observe and work with the school team. Existing goals from the SLP, OT, and teacher(s) will be reviewed. I will provide written recommendations for AAC implementation, including next steps for communication partners in the school. If requested, I can also write individualized academic goals to support next steps. For adults who have aged out of school, we can still create meaningful goals! Fees: Initial Assessment is $500 CDN, plus travel expenses
This includes an online meeting before the school visit, to gather input on your goals and needs, a half day at the school to observe, a meeting with the school team, and one follow up meeting online. Before coming, I can provide a letter for the school, explaining who I am. You will receive a written report with recommendations after the initial assessment.
For parents or educators a distance away, we can arrange a videoconference to discuss your needs. I will gather information from you and make suggestions for next steps. Fees: $100 CDN per hour
