This workshop works best in person and there are grants available for ETFO members to cover the fees. Research shows that students are more motivated to use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) when their peers use it. It's adds value via the "cool factor." It is valuable for peers to develop an understanding of how hard it is to communication when you cannot speak in the usual way. Together, the shared experience will help to make your classroom a more inclusive learning community.
